In 1961, Carlo Fontana published a portfolio of his drawings representing in various aspects, the island of Ponza. There were 24 images, printed – unfortunately – on paper of medium quality. Only 500 numbered copies were put for sale on the Island, at the time for 1,000 liras (something like 1.60 US$).
An alternate one-page introduction, translated into English from the original Italian text written by the artist himself, was also available.
